By accessing or using PlacementDo ("the Service"), operated at placementdo.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

PlacementDo provides an AI-powered interview simulation and coaching platform. The Service allows users to conduct mock interviews using artificial intelligence, receive performance scoring and feedback, and access placement preparation resources. The Service is designed to help users practise and improve their interview skills.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. By using PlacementDo, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Immediately notifying us of any unauthorised use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models, personas, or algorithms
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or interact with the Service beyond normal usage
• Rapidly exhaust API rate limits or intentionally overload system resources
• Submit inappropriate, illegal, harmful, or malicious content during interview sessions
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Redistribute, resell, or share account access with unauthorised third parties

6. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, code, AI personas, design, and documentation on PlacementDo are owned by or licensed to PlacementDo and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our written consent.

You retain ownership of the CVs, recordings, and content you upload during interview sessions. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process this data solely to provide the Service (e.g., generating feedback and reports).

7. Subscriptions, Payments, and Advertising

The Service offers free and paid tiers. Free accounts may be supported by advertising from networks such as Google AdSense when advertising is enabled for the relevant account and region. Optional advertising scripts require your consent where applicable, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Premium tiers (Pro, Elite) remove third-party display ads and provide additional features. All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment processor. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

8. AI-Generated Content and Accuracy

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate interview questions, feedback, and performance scores. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. PlacementDo does not guarantee that AI feedback will be error-free, and you should not rely solely on AI-generated scores as the definitive assessment of your interview readiness.

We do not guarantee job placement, interview invitations, or specific career outcomes as a result of using the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PlacementDo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your data by contacting support@placementdo.app.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
